Hello! I recently found this article on an alternative treatment for hydrocephalus. (Someone shared it on the Encephalocele Parent Support Group Facebook) I know there are a lot of children with Encephaloceles who end up getting a VP Shunt placed due to Hydrocephalus. My son it one of them. It's a common procedure but, they fail often which can be scary for children and parents. I am no expert and have not done much research on the ETV procedure. I did find it interesting enough to share. It may help another family out there.
